Check-In

Check-in time is 4:00pm. A valid credit card and current government issued ID is required to check-in. All guests must be 21 years old to check-in unless traveling with a parent or legal guardian.

Resort Fee is $25 per night, plus tax is not included in the room rate.

Smoking Policy

The Plaza Resort & Spa rooms and all indoor public space is 100% Smoke-Free (including guest rooms with balconies). There are designated outdoor smoking areas on the property for our smoking guests’ convenience. Smoking or vaping in the room is prohibited and any evidence of smoking will incur a minimum deep cleaning fee of $250 charged to the guest credit card account on file.

Incidentals and Damages

A valid credit card is required at check-in for incidentals. The card will be pre-authorized for $100 per day, per room. The room deposit hold will be placed on the credit card during the guest’s stay, restricting access to those funds for up to 14 days. Regardless of billing or master account arrangements, the guest is liable for any and all charges posted to the room(s). Guest is further liable for all damages to the room(s) caused by the room occupants or guests/invitees during the stay.

Accessible Guest Rooms

In accordance with the “Americans with Disabilities” Act, Plaza Resort & Spa has accessible rooms available. These rooms are designed for our guests who require accommodations that meet ADA standards of compliance.

Code of Conduct

We strive to provide a memorable experience for all of our guests, everyone is expected to exhibit respect and appropriate civil conduct while on the property. Public intoxication will not be tolerated. Disrupting the guests’ experience with inappropriate behavior including harassment, offensive or insulting language, fighting or any other action deemed inappropriate by management will result in the offender being removed from the property. Refunds or credits will not be issued if removed from the hotel and additional charges may apply if expenses are incurred as a result of the disruption.

Coolers/Ice Chests

Coolers or Ice chests are not permitted in common areas or pool areas of the property. If you require a cold storage device for personal or medical purposes, please advise our management so we may accommodate your needs.

Lobby Attire

Proper attire, including shirt and shoes, is required in the lobby and indoor common areas.

Do you have a resort fee and what is included?

Yes we have a $29 per day Resort Fee. The following is included with your fee: Wi-Fi, in-room coffee, in-room safe, two bottles of water, use of hotel’s fitness center and fitness programs, one hour per day beach cruiser rental, complimentary breakfast buffet for kids under five, live weekend entertainment, select resort activities and recreational events, local and long-distance telephone calls, use of pool chairs and pool towels and in-room microwave and mini-fridge.

Do you have on-site parking and what are the fees?

Yes, self-parking is $15 per day and valet is $25 per day.

Do you allow pets?

No, pets are not allowed. Service animals are welcome.

Do you have a restaurant on-site?

Yes, we have our Lobby Lounge overlooking the beach, 1888, Room Service, Pool Bar and Marketplace for light snacks.

Do you have rollaways, microwaves, and/or cribs/pack-n-plays?

Yes. Microwaves are in all rooms. Rollaways are first come, first serve for a daily fee of $25. Pack-n-plays are also on a first come, first serve for a daily fee of $10.

Do you offer transportation to and from the airport?

No, but there are taxis and Uber.

What is the minimum age to check-in?

21, and all guests staying in the room must be 21 or older unless parent or legal guardian is staying in the room.

Is your pool heated? If so, what is the temperature?

Yes, 72 degrees

Do you have a jacuzzi?

Yes, it is located in our Spa. They are based upon availability and there is a small fee of $10. Please check with our Ocean Waters Spa for more information and reservations.

Resort Update – Reopening in 2025

Warm greetings from the Plaza Resort and Spa in Daytona Beach.

As you may know, Hurricane Ian passed through our community on September 30th, 2022. Reports of damages ranged from fallen trees and flooding to the collapse of entire buildings. We stand in solidarity with all Floridians that continue to rebuild and move forward. Ian has certainly taken its toll on our beloved historical hotel.

While we are saddened not to be able to welcome our cherished guests, we will take this as an opportunity to create the vision we have always dreamed of. We are looking to reopen with a completely new resort adding thrilling new features and amenities that will give more reason to visit Daytona Beach. It is our commitment to keep you abreast with developments as we delve further into the process.
