The Plaza Resort & Spa Enhancements Continue To Impress!

Daytona Beach, FL – July 29, 2013 – The Plaza Resort & Spa in Daytona Beach Florida, the award winning Three Diamond hotel, continues to enhance the resort with upgrades. The Plaza’s new management company, Boykin Hospitality Management, is pleased with the results and believes these upgrades, along with the forecasted renovations will allow them to continue to provide their guests with the ultimate resort experience.

Completed construction includes newly poured, concrete balconies now allowing guests to take full advantage of the fabulous beach & city views. Phase two of the balcony repairs will resume in late August to early September.

Summer guests at the resort have also been very pleased with the added amenities to The Plaza’s vast pool deck. “The many new umbrellas, tables and chairs, along with three new bed-type loungers available for rent, have created a more relaxed and soothing atmosphere for The Plaza guest,” said Bob Van Bergen, General Manager of The Plaza Resort & Spa. “Our goal is to continually exceed our guests expectations and with these added amenities I believe we are doing just that.” Other added amenities to the pool deck include ping-pong, cornhole, refreshing soft-served ice cream and two new fire pits which make for the perfect ending to an already fabulous day.

“We truly care about our guests and strive to give them the ultimate Daytona Beach vacation,” said Mr. Van Bergen. “Many of these renovations are in direct response to our guests’ feedback and will allow us to continue with our grand tradition of service and hospitality by providing them in-room comforts and luxury.” Other improvements continue to take place throughout the resort on a weekly basis, such as an enhanced fitness center, upgraded 42” LCD TVs in every room with HD cable, new queen sleeper sofas in all king bedded accommodations, upgraded Wi-Fi as well as a brand new business center.

“The new business center is a great addition providing a much needed area for not only our business travelers but also for our leisure guests,” said Mr. Van Bergen. Guests now have the ability to utilize computer workstations for various tasks such as printing boarding passes, checking email and navigating the web. Each computer in the business center is complete with Microsoft Office products and configured for 30-minute work sessions.
